REACH - Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation of Chemicals
REACH is the name of the EU regulation (EC1907/2006) on chemicals and their safe use. It deals with the registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemical substances.
Registration is only mandatory for products that intentionally release prohibited substances when used properly and exceed specified quantities.
This obligation to register does not apply if the producer or importer can rule out exposure to humans and the environment under reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.
We do not trade in products containing substances that are intended to be released at any time and are therefore not subject to any registration obligation.
We naturally fulfil our obligation to provide information in accordance with Article 33 on substances of very high concern (SVHC). However, as a distributor without our own development and production facilities, we are dependent on information and declarations from manufacturers in this regard. As soon as we have these, we will of course make them available to our customers.
